Peace River Center’s subject matter experts can provide presentations on a wide variety of topics. We are available for in-person or virtual presentations. Topics include but are not limited to:
- anxiety, depression, stress, etc.
- behavioral health
- children and teens’ mental health
- domestic violence awareness and prevention
- mental health and mental wellness
- mental illness
- sexual assault awareness and prevent
- substance use disorders and treatment
- suicide awareness and prevention
- teen dating violence awareness and prevention

Help Eliminate the Stigma
Did you know mental illnesses are as common as silver cars and brown eyes? Yet the stigma prevents many people from seeking help for an average of 10 years! The Make It OK campaign is designed to help everyone in our community learn, talk, and share about mental illness, work to remove the stigma, and help connect individuals and families to resources available. Make It OK is a community campaign to reduce stigma by starting conversations and increasing understanding about mental illness.
Made possible by HealthPartners, Inc. this campaign has gained traction in Minnesota and Iowa, helping to reduce stigma and start meaningful conversations. Now YOU can help by having Peace River Center present to your church or civic group or sharing about mental illness on social media. Email us to request a 30-minute Make It OK presentation.

Have an upcoming event you would like Peace River Center to attend? We love getting into the community and sharing resources! If you have a specific topic you’re interested in promoting such as Suicide Prevention and Awareness, Child Sexual Abuse Prevention, or Diabetes and Mental Health, just let us know. We will develop content tailored to your event or organization’s needs. Request a PRC staff member to attend your next event by using the form.
