About the Presenter

Patience Taylor has a passion for helping and encouraging each individual that she encounters. Prior to becoming an employee with Peace River Center she worked with children with special needs and learning disabilities for three years. Patience has been employed with Peace River Center for a little over a year, she initially began as a domestic violence advocate at our local domestic violence shelter, she refers to the shelter as her “first love”. Patience is now the Relocation Specialist in our Victim Services department helping survivor’s complete applications and submit the proper documents in order to obtain victims compensation from the state due to their past domestic violence incidents. Patience is passionate about helping in any way that she can while making a difference in the community one survivor at a time.
