Join Heartland Core Wellness, Peace River Center, and Synergy Health Group for the Highlands County Community Mental Health Summit. This summit aims to raise awareness about mental health issues within the community, provide practical tips for self-care and well-being, debunk myths surrounding mental illness, and equip attendees with de-escalation strategies. The event is designed to be interactive, offering opportunities for attendees to engage directly with experts. Attendees will hear from the following experts:

• Aisha Alayande, Executive Director, Heartland Core Wellness
• James Sclater, Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Synergy Health Group
• Kirk D. Fasshauer, LCSW, FT, Director of Crisis Services, Peace River Center
• Cassie Carver, LMHC, CCTP, CTMH, Senior Clinical Director, Peace River Center

This community awareness event is free to attend, but registration is strongly encouraged using the form below. Join us at 8:30 am for a continental breakfast and networking. The first presentation will begin at 9 am. Each session will be followed by brief Q&A. We will wrap up the event with a Panel Discussion: Integrating Mental Health into Community Life. We look forward to providing you with useful mental health tips and resources.
