Christmas in July Donation Drive

July 10 - July 31

Peace River Center is asking the community to help provide "Christmas in July" for individuals served by the organization's Recovery Services programs. Until July 31 the organization is asking for donations of new men's and women's undergarments (all sizes) as well as new men's and women's socks. Polk County Sheriff's Office Crime Prevention Specialist explains to the children what a stranger is, how to avoid them, and what to do if they are verbally or physically confronted by a stranger. Join the Lakeland Flying Tigers Baseball and Peace River Center for the Ice Cream Festival on Saturday, July 20, 2019, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. If you purchase tickets through the link provided here PRC will receive a portion of the proceeds. Once you're done sampling delicious summer treats, watch as your Lakeland Flying Tigers take on Daytona Tortugas Professional Baseball. First pitch will be thrown at 6:00 p.m.

Women’s Basic Self Defense Class

REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED! The class is free of charge and for ladies 13 years and older. Those under 18 will need a parent present to sign a waiver at the start of class.
