Honoring Kathleen’s Legacy
Kathleen Roehm was a beloved member of the Peace River Center Community Relations Team. She had a passion for positively influencing others and helping them realize their full potential. Whether it was a kind word on a hard day or advocating for individuals with a mental illness by sharing her connection to Peace River Center’s resources, she radiated hope. So many individuals shared stories of how behind the scenes Kathleen was quietly connecting them or their loved ones to resources or stepping in to fill a community need.
During Recovery Month, we honor Kathleen’s legacy by raising funds to help mental illness recovery programs like Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Club Success–or any other programs that need a boost in funding to positively impact lives. Previously designated to the Kathleen Roehm Memorial Fund, donations raised going forward will be used where they are needed the most whether that be to purchase art therapy supplies for children and teens served by Children’s Services or to support a survivor as she exits our domestic violence shelter. Much like Kathleen’s approach to resolving any need she came across, this new approach will address any needs or opportunities that arise across Peace River Center.
