Supporting Others

Looking for a tangible way to give back to those served by Peace River Center? Here are a few of the current program needs. Thank you for helping our staff go above and beyond to serve clients in our community. To arrange a donation drop-off please email CommunityRelations@PeaceRiverCenter.org.

Items Used Across Multiple Programs

  • Art supplies – construction paper, colored pencils, crayons, markers, paint markers, scrapbook paper
  • Books (for kids, teens, and adults)
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Full-size hygiene items (i.e., shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, body wash/soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.)
  • Games including playing cards, UNO, Phase 10, Monopoly, Scrabble, Connect Four
  • Gift cards for art supplies, food, gas, household items – Amazon, Hobby Lobby, Target, Walmart, etc.
  • Journals
  • Nonperishable food items
  • New undergarments (for men, women, and children)
  • Word search and crossword books

Children’s Psychiatric Services Wish List

  • Bean bag chairs
  • Essential oil scented stuffed animals
  • Fidget toys
  • Game consoles (Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox)
  • Sporting equipment (baseball gloves, basketballs, soccer balls)
  • Weighted blankets (for children and teens)
  • Weighted stuffed animals

Crisis Stabilization Units

  • Comfortable clothing (such as sweaters and sweatpants) for children and adults without drawstrings
  • Educational materials for kids ages 7-17
  • Inspirational posters
  • Paperback books (for adult and children) with staples removed

Recovery Services

  • Household products (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, household cleaners)
  • Kitchen supplies (such as pots and pans, dishes, utensils, microwave, etc).

Residential Services

  • Backpacks
  • Blankets/throws
  • Cat supplies and funds for veterinarian services

  • Car seats and booster seats (unexpired)
  • Clothing/shoes for teens
  • Comfortable clothing (such as sports bras, sweatshirts and sweatpants) for children and adults
  • Diapers (sizes 4-6, Pull-Ups 2T-6T)
  • Ethnic hair products
  • Flipflops
  • Gift cards for pet stores for food or crates
  • Gift cards for teens (ice cream, movies, etc.)

  • Survivor housewarming baskets (sheets, towels, dish soap, sponges, detergent, cleaning supplies, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper)
