Alex Garcia-Barbon, MIM, Vice President
Behavioral Health – Advent Health
Alex Garcia-Barbon currently serves as the Vice President for Behavioral Health Services for AdventHealth’s Central Florida Division. Prior to joining AdventHealth, Alex served as Vice President of Operations at Horizon Health, a leader in the management of behavioral health service lines and programs. In that role he collaborated with health systems and independent hospitals to successfully manage their existing behavioral health services and/or effectively set up new services to meet the needs of patients and their families. He previously worked as the Chief Hospital Officer at LifeStream Behavioral Health Center, where he oversaw the inpatient and emergency services for the organization. Throughout his professional career, Alex has gained extensive experience in behavioral health program development and operational experience, as well as successful partnership development.
Alex holds a master’s degree in international management and healthcare administration from University of Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in theology from Washington Adventist University.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, cycling and spending time with his family. Alex and his wife Mileidys have two children: Ethan and Alexa.

Natalie Jones, SHRM-CP, PHR, Manager of EAP
Publix Super Markets, Inc.
Natalie currently works as the Manager of EAP for Publix Super Markets Inc. Prior to this, Natalie was a Labor Relations Specialist and Survey Projects Analyst with Publix. In the past she worked with the City of Lakeland since 2009 as an HR Generalist and Specialist. She previously served the American Cancer Society in Talent and Development and was an HR Rep for the University of Central Florida (her alma mater). Natalie has her Bachelors and Masters Degree from UCF. She is PHR and SHRM-CP certified and has been a chapter member with Mid-Florida SHRM since 2011.

Alice Nuttall, MBA, RN, BA, AVP of Behavioral Health Services
Lakeland Regional Health
Alice Nuttall, MBA, RN, BA, is a transformational behavioral health leader and nursing executive, providing her expertise to patients and colleagues for over 20 years. A graduate of Vanderbilt University with a degree in neuroscience psychology, Ms. Nuttall also has degrees in nursing, and healthcare business management. She is both a passionate healthcare leader and skilled business woman who fosters collaboration on the most difficult of community wide issues. She currently is AVP of Behavioral Health Services at Lakeland Regional Health. She returned to her hometown of Lakeland in 2018 to lead efforts in building a new state of the art 96 bed Behavioral Health and Wellness Center that opens in 2022. LRH is a growing best in class behavioral health program with an entire continuum of care and robust connections through the community. Ms. Nuttall is actively collaborating with local law enforcement, first responders, social service agencies, and local government to raise behavioral health awareness, increase access to services, and reduce the stigma for those with mental health disorders. She sits on many boards with a focus on wellness of the community and is a sought after speaker in the area of emotional wellness, emotionally intelligent leadership, and behavioral health.

Donna Rininger, LMHC, MCAP, Director of Specialty Services
Peace River Center
Donna is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Master’s Certified Addiction Professional and has worked at Peace River Center for more than 30 years in several different departments including Victim Services, Case Management, Children’s Advocacy Center, Children’s Therapist, Assertive Community Treatment, Addiction Services, Family Intensive Treatment, Forensics, and the Children’s Action Team. She currently serves as Director of Specialty Services. Donna is trained and certified in various evidence-based therapy techniques and serves as a consultant and trainer for those becoming certified in Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. She is also a Mental Health First Aid trainer for the community.
